Watching this 2 9...should be fun. Ready to FAP at Giant ROBO and Megan Fox ass....

Watch it yesterday...the movie plot is all over the place. Plenty of plot holes and doesn't make sense logic.

Compare to 1st Transformer movie I would rate 8/10. For the 2nd movie, rate 6/10

After finishing, I don't feel as pump as I was when watching the 1st one. Its more like, FINALLY....its over.....That's it?? ok....

To those haven't watch, go with "low" expectation.....and set your mind, that you just want to see some robots action and CGI effect. Don't fuss about the story or acting so much and you'll be better serve.

I think the opposite. Clearly if you research internet, more then half have given the movie 50% rating. Only "rabid" & hardcore Transformer fans? or perhaps Hasbro marketing employees that give that movie 10/10 due to interest.

For the 3rd movie, Michael Bay should take a rest or hire better scriptwriters if he want to direct.

Star Trek 2009 got >90% rating in Rotten Tomatoes. I've watch Star Trek, like it but don't think it is that high. There several cheesy part and also the appearance of "old" Spock and he seems lifeless in his role. To me, 7.5/10 for Star Trek and a nice way to reboot the series.

To get into prespective by rotten tomatoes critics

Star Trek = 95%

Tranformer 2 = 27%

Transformer 1 = 57%

I am Legend = 69%

The Dark Knight = 94%

A good movie is a good movie, not need excuses. Even when I'm tired from work and go watch Enchanted or Monster & Alien or I am Legend, I feel euphoria, happy, thinking, entertain even because all is such a good movie and well directed.

Transformer 2 is just ok and I am disappointed compare the 1st one. Some action I like but I also like a story at least that don't insult my intelligence.

This movie is directed badly this time I think, perhaps due to their writers strike at one time and perhaps Michael Bay, pen it all the script himself due to "meeting his deadline"??

It seems like lack of direction & heart compare to the 1st one.

- slap in the left over CGI from 1st one, even it doesn't make sense in the overall plot. More CGI doesn't mean better.
- plot continuity is lost
- robots with Terminator like reference, really....a human transformer? I thought it was only in Terminator you have human robots.
- Captain or Admiral of the USS Carrier fleet can be call by someone unknown over the phone to fire top secret weapon in less then 2 minutes
- The world is just going about to end , and it seems the whole world population doesn't care or ignorant about it...
- Decepticon hideout is just beside Earth only, Megatron seems to get there pretty quick.
- Transformer can have babies...
- many more before too much spoiler reveal

My advice, watch this one, and leave thinking brain at home, and just enjoy some of the CGI fighting. Also don't bring kids to watch this.

At one moment you have Transformer transforming, another some backside or panty shot or some robots humping Megan Fox legs. The target age group for this movie is Teenagers in their "transformation" years....ONLY!!!! Watch with discretion parents!!! Also it contain insults to all parents would be, and your sons or daughters is ashamed of you.

I know what you mean....there are 2 sets of Transformer fans.....the one before the 1st movie Transformer....and the ones, after. A pretty harshscore 4/10.

I miss the Devastator combination scenes when I bring my little ones to the toilet. However, I asked my friends who came with me how's that scene....and he mention some parts flying about joining in which he also cannot seems to see clearly and asked me back how come have suction part in the face and from which tractor robot that have this suctions? So, any transformer fans out there know Devastator got this suction power original or not?

My little ones keep asked me throughout what this transformer...good or bad. I would reply....in good....or bad. The yellow one good or bad??.....good....the red one? good......then again....is the yellow one good or bad?? Good robot.....Daddy...that red one leh?? Good......This robot good or bad???....bad.

The same cinema during Transformer 1.....people clap. Not this time....maybe jaded audience...? Or I watch during critics day gathering?

If you go in with low expectation...maybe ZERO expectation. You would thoroughly enjoy the film.

Buy already, watch loh. I'm sure you seen worst movies. I also buy early in anticipation to watch and read those early reviews and really turn as expected.

The 1st movie, makes me want to watch again and many of my friends watch 2 times. This movie, so far, nobody says want to watch again.

I want to watch again, probably wait for Blu Ray version as missout the Devastator transformation. Hopefully edited and trimmed the plot for the Bluray edition.

I'm sure it is, probably Hasbro marketing executive says to michael bay to put him in there irregardless of the plot. All those 1 dimensional robots there to placate the Hasbro toyline. They need to sell Blackout edition 2009!!

Also you do notice this movie is also quite racist towards the black people....hey, hasbro executive probably says we don't have black robots for black people, why don't we put some black robots there which I can't even remember their names today after watching yesterday. Dinn & Skinn?

I'm not into the lore, so not knowing much compare the hardcore. Consider myself casual audience. Just read the wikipedia for the plot, finally understand Transformer 2 all about.

After reading the plot, begin to understand the direction Michael Bay went with part 2....more about kid stuff, pokemon, power rangers styles of plot & logic.

Dunno why all the bad guy robots are silver looking...is their toy all silver colour?? Is very terminator like color....only the last part bad guy has some colors. At the forest scene, only Optimus is in color....also quite blur watching the fight there.
