hihi, just got my eten x800 yesterday from pda expert. bought it at rm2499 which come with standard package + car charger + car holder + screen protector + softwares.... add another rm75 for micro sd 2gb.

confirmed the firmware is the latest version at 0402. so it should support memory card capacity higher than 4gb. and it do solved all the problem mentioned by encoRe in page 1.

glad to welcome u become one of the Glofiish X800 User. maybe later we can create a thread for all glofiish X800 owners..

the xp is running by using VNC server as claimed by hongkong ppl... the vga screen terrific!!

for my opinion, the PDA phones should use the windows mobile professional which is more stable due to it specially designed for the usage of PDAs...

but if the windows XP is much more stable compare to windows mobile, then maybe we can have a try.. wahahhaa...

Ya. I couldn't agree more, got pro and cons.......

There's a last set of X500 when i was there but the staff claimed it got problem with the sound........so send back to service centre for REPAIR before selling it to me.

Does this kind of problems like the sound / others happen to Eten brand of PDAs? Is it advisible to "Take the risk" even before we get to play with the PDA?
*
i havent face any problem so far.. cos i only tried with the X800 only...

so far, i like this gorgeous babe with superb VGA screen...

I think the whole eten X800 running windows XP is only via remote desktop - which means that it's only able to display and remotely control some PC somewhere over the internet - which also means that XP isn't actually installed ON the eten X800.
*
really? i also not sure about this... cos i still the noob on using the PDA phone... haha...
