other than spamming here, if you're refering to the L lens, then you will like the sharpness of the lens. Experienced photographer will mostly amazed when they see a red ring surrounding the lens. And the price, I can buy 2x 400D with that.

I happen to be the same shoe with you but I don't know your condition, much like worse than me. Anw, what I do is, when things start to get sweaty, just wipe your palm on your jeans or shirt. You won't find people using tisu to wrap around the lens and zoom, you can try though. (Har Har Har)

Speaking of sweaty, you're not the only one. They also face some common problems like oily nose which sometimes mess up the LCD screen while you're on the viewfinder.

You'll get what you've paid, the sharpness of the image is really worth it. If you're really on this field, go get it. If you're like another way round, like 3 minute kepanasan, then you can try getting the alternatives, the cheaper ones

I don't have any filter for my kit lens, but it still work wonders.

Best don't wear red.
