yes. but that doesn't mean i (or we) encourage you to spend more time on PP than on shooting.

the shots in my gallery, i don't do PP for like probably 98% of the shots. only some i adjust, but that also i don't tune the colors. i only do brightness & constrast at a minimal level.

my style - snap as best as i can. so my shots are usually just resized / crop, sharpen, watermarked and that's it. yes, add borders too.

i do come by people who thinks one should spend more time PPing photos, IMO they should be called Photoshop / Graphic professionals instead of photographer.

how about learning to use the 1/(focal length) rule for shutter?

for example, if you're at 200mm zoom. then ideally shutter speed should be at least 1/200.

of course optical stabilization would bend the rule for you but then the concept is still there.

hehe. no idea on how far aperture to contribute to sharpness. definitely not at the widest la. just drop a few stops should be sufficient. f11 is damn far man.
