actually, i think it all just boils down to who thinks what is right. to me, both are equally right. both 18-55mm and the 17-85mm can be called kit lens. however, IMHO, the 18-55mm is the "standard" kit lens, as most buyers tend to choose that when purchasing their 400D.

450D is coming out soon, around mid or 3rd quarter of this year. I've a friends who's working as a photographer for magazines and she has a fren who's working in Canon. Sounds reliable. We shall wait and see. hahaa. xD

Well I guess that will have to do for now.. kinda thinking getting pairs of gloves and cut off the finger parts so can have better controls on the button, that way will stop my sweaty palm a bit

very very sweaty cos I myself kinda sweat a lot! My metabolism just won't stop even after I stopped exercise 
Now with this new cam, I would be running here and there too

Work for a month and you'll most probably get a RM2k lens for that.
