hey guys, i saw a 400D Kit going for RM2550 today. is it a good price?

i got mine for RM 250 or so. used unit la but works like new, with filter some more.




try reverse-kit lens technique. quite fun.

not everyone has the budget. the other day i saw people shooting wedding photos - using 1.4 also, mounted on 1dmk2 la.

don't under-estimate your kit lens no matter how the photographer community bash the Canon kit lens.

I've got it already - 400D. Kiss digital is the Japanese version. TS only stated 400D digital rebel xt/xti, no Kiss...

Kit lens is good enough for starters. Play around with it first and take nice pictures with it. If you think it's not good enough, then start searching around for a better one.

yup. in fact it's still good to take nice photos.

in the end the kit lens however will be replaced once you've out-grown it.

i've not touched my kit lens for few weeks already, until last night. wanted something small and with short zoom range. lazy to mount my 18-200 OS cos that fella is heavy and much bigger.

seems need more practice. .just few hours ago i'm went to putrajaya. taking some photo. oso seen few photographer with 'canon' neckstrip.

Added on December 2, 2007, 3:17 ambtw, guys i found this lens calculator. Just go and see how's the focal factor on your camera, just remember what crop factor your camera is then apply the lens on it.

I found out that the 17-40L's 100+ angle of view only works on the full frame =/ makes me think twice whether i shud get it or not, because im a wide angle freak

get la Sigma 10-20 or Canon 10-22.

Hmmm, hard decision. I plan to jump into the world of full frame le... so the 17-40 is a must furthermore, lens are long term investment... haiz... decisions decisions!
