yeah... if u do the math... 1 680i mobo and maybe 2 8800GTS, the price i think may be almost the same with the 9800GX2 when it is out... so safe all the hassle and get a 9800GX2 will be much better... furthermore performance wise i think should be almost the same (correct me if im wrong)...

but i dont think it will be too hot like the 8800GT... usually when they design a card, they will take the temperature into consideration... for me i dont think the temperature is going to be problem... maybe other manufacturer will make it into two fans like some ati X2 card.... who knows...

the strange thing bout the 9600gt review is there is too much review with total different result so sometimes its really confusing.... but anyway i dont think u guys should argue bout this crap card and maybe one of u go get 1 card to do review by ur own and show its true power to us...

the only thing i find good bout this card is the temperature... its still a single slot card but it is much cooler than the 8800gt... other than that it is nothing more than a average card and i think it cannot be compare to 8800gt or 3870 because one is high end card and the other isnt... but if u compare the prices i have to agree with tech frix.... 3870 is worth the buy for its performance....

but is it confirm?? i saw other other forums they said the 2gb card is fake... furthermore the heard some of them said it is only 256 bit which is quite ridiculous.... and the clock is only 800mhz.... besides that its using g92 core... so its not really a new design... so im a lil confused here bout the news... dont know what is up with nvidia... maybe its just a modified g92 8800gts....

tried but all the result leads to the fake chinese writting 9800gts... maybe nvidia dont want any leak so can suprise ATI when the real 9800gts is out...

9800GX2 is coming out for sure in a few days to few week time... price surely will be flying high too i think... IMO it will be like the 8800ultra when it first came out...

i dont have the money for 9800GX2 though but maybe 9800GT or GTS or maybe g100 chipset comes out then maybe can considerate....

even with tri still it doesnt fully utilise it when gaming.... i doubt quad can and if nvidia really support quad...

i truly agree with u... nvidia is not taking ATI seriously...

9800 gtx is kinda like the overclock version of 8800gts g92... really dont understand y wanna design a card like 9800gtx and if it sell around rm800-2000 then i think everybody will move to ATI...

ppl with budget i think will just go for CF 3870x2 rather that 9800gx2 unless if u r a fan boy of nvidia...

some said that the benchmark lost to g92 8800gts... but maybe the driver has not fully develop yet but i really doubt that the performance will be much higher than g92 8800gts..... one more thing bout the 9800gts is it doesnt support tri SLI...

IMO performance will be almost the same as the g92 8800gts lagi no tri SLI....

usually they do but not every shop in LYP sell it before the release date... if u want u need to ask around coz they dont pamer out.... as i know its kinda illegal to sell before the release date... anyway for now i only know 9800gx2 are availabe (gigabyte) for order... but others like gtx and gts i dont think is are out as no news of manufacturer producing...

how would i know... i dont go to LYP everyday... thats y i ask u to ask around if u r interested to get 1... im sure there are shops sell a lil earlier than the release date...

anyway try asking c-zone as they have pre order for 9800gx2 gigabyte already...
