I m just bought 9600GT 2 week ago, but i m not either Nvidia or ATI fans, if the card give good performance, i will go for it, if both 9600GT n 3870 also at the price around rm600(I m not sure where u got this price, 3870=rm599, i check the PCZone price list still state with rm670, other brand still at around rm800), me sure will go for 3870, since i believe ATI always have better image quality. But for the one who said the 9600GT is piece of crap, then please show us the proof, dun simply said the crap word. I have no lag problem to play Crysis on 4x Anti Aliasing, 1440x900 or 1280x1024 with High setting(2G DDR2-800+Tforce P965+E6600+Windows XP SP2+ViewSonic VG2030wm LCD).

yeah, ATI always had better image quality ever since the beginning. I felt the same with HD3850 when compared to 9600GT. But of course, performance wise, 9600GT wins hands down. Dunno about HD3870 with 9600GT though, but I've heard that the performance of HD3870 loses to 9600GT but not by much. But still, I'm not a specific supporter of any of the two companies so if the next HD4XXX series comes out better price and performance wise, I might just grab one.

d point taken bro BUT, if we comparing with price and performanc, RM599 for 3870 and RM655 for 9600gt, i think 3870 is d best...

i can even look the IQ difference with my ATI X850XT and 8800GTS G92 under XP ~~~ X850Xt have better IQ in DOTA then 8800GTS G92

This funny,i think u even dunno how to compare it, how u put the lowest price of 3870 compare with the higher price of 9600GT???? I have check all the price list, i m only can find the price of colorful 3870 is rm670.

dat is due to good reputation of 3870 in LYN...
everbody knows dat...LYP seller study and look what is d hottest product @LYN then they will increase d price slightly or extremely...
trust me..i've been studied LYP seller tactics for months now...
colorful 3870 price @RM599 is being there for more than a month...
suddenly they change it..y??
because all of us are customer to them and they know dat 3870 is a hot cakes..
