bro..
something to thing about...
i saw some pics on ur flickr...
not to put u down or anything...
but some are badly OOF...  <----Sorry...my mistake...not some...ONE!
i know it's good if u want to learn MF...
but if it makes ur pics blurry and soft and OOF....
it's not good...
also...when shooting indoor with artificial lighting...
check ur white balance....or shoot raw then adjust it in PP...
u take a look at ur flickr...
the pic of 2 gurls going down the escalator...badly OOF...

Added on December 8, 2007, 10:37 pmone more thing...
check ur exposure oso...
some pics are a bit underexposed...=)
try using exposure compensation...
it's ok..it takes time...even i have only known how to use it 2 days ago...=)
good try though!
*
THANKS! ahhhhhh!! what i've been waiting for days! tongue.gif
thanks bro, dono.. just hits me in the head when im shooting my
friend's kenduri today. AF is better and duh! faster tongue.gif
will be utilizing em from now on. owh, just let you know.
sometimes i forgot the set the exposure to default.
yeah, its something to look forward too. owh! about the Personal
Photos in my flickr, thats just for fun. most of them are a bit blurry
but i upload them anyway just to share with them. thats why
i dont post em' here biggrin.gif

thanks bro notworthy.gif

bro..
can u explain...
what do u mean by....
*
sometimes i did set them +1 ( for indoor ) but i forgot to set it back to 0
when im shooting outdoor. but i always refer to the histogram.
sometimes i even forgot to set the iso to the appropriate when shooting
one environment to another sweat.gif

I noticed that your pictures have a lot of dead space at the top of the photo especially those taken at Cineleisure. Read up on the rules of third and composition and I am sure it will greatly help your photos.
*
i used the rule of third composition to guide me,
maybe i didnt follow them properly.
thanks for the tip ;D

bro..
it's not the jpeg or compression thingy...
maybe the exposures u used to compose the HDRI has not enough details in the shadows and highlights...
in HDRI..
usually both the shadow(dark) and hightlight(bright) part still retain its details...=)
*
maybe laugh.gif sorry ya, still new at it.
uhhmm, i set it -50 and 50 exposure.
maybe its too much?

usually bro...
HDR takes 3 exposures....
1 - balance as per camera metered
2 - lower exp
3 - higher exp
combine all 3 to get the HDRI effect...
*
yes yes, that what i exactly did.
and i did see the histogram to see if there's an imbalance.

the fisrt one is nice...
try to compose using rule of third...
shud make ur image nicer to look at...
and the candle...a bit under i think..
the dog...
how about u try to zoom in the head....bcoz in this shot...u cut off its legs...=)
the rest okla...

juz some suggestion...
1 n 3 u can try HDRI...
shud look good...since u have the bright sky and also the dark gunung2...=)
*
thanks bro,
yesss, i am utilizing the rule of third on my shots.
some of the shots i did it free hand, to drop my camera
down and capture it ( without looking ) coz i dont want
to lie down all the way to get the shot tongue.gif

the candle is under eh?

about the dog pic, if i can zoom his head i take it ady laugh.gif
that is the farthest i can zoom with my kit lens @.@
the dog is dirty and all wet looking, didnt dare to get
any closer tongue.gif

okay, will do. but need some rest first sweat.gif

i just noticed when im vewing my photos from another pc ( monitor )
its very dark, and almost some tone of color is kinda missing.
i did set it back to default. hmm.

hmm, yeah its kinda dark, but what to do. it was dark like 7 p.m
some shots were taken at morning & evening. im kinda confused with
this in photography :/ do we actually brightened the pic ( even though its arent )
or just capture what we see with our eyes?
just read an article
about the perfect exposure tongue.gif

the horse photo i cant go any further, artificially and by camera.
there's not enough light, cough cough might need sb-600 lol.
to cross light it tongue.gif

thanks bro, looking forward from you again rclxms.gif
please do correct me if i said something wrong ya!
