QUOTE(jhchong @ Jun 30 2008, 04:21 PM) im a little confused here on the game. am i supposed to take lots of driver offers till i hv got enough money to enter license or events that need me to buy cars? at first you need to take driver offers until you have enough money to buy car for your team

agreed with you all... i hope if the developer read this forum, they should realize their mistake.. GRID is just a failure. unlike TOCA, DiRT and their other racing games. GRID is just sucks... I play a game for leisure, to relax myself from tension, but GRID is just makes me more stress. cars easily spin and you be on the last place after a few laps on first position. the most ridicolous thing when play le mans, after few minutes.. when car spin, need to restart all over again if it's like impossible to catch the first place. one race need to restart 4-5 times.. i think it worth for rent only.. dunno if i'm really bad in racing games but i managed to finished dirt and toca on medium difficulty. dunno why is it so hard with GRID. graphic is awesome... gameplay is sucks.

Le Mans is stupid because no matter how perfect you are, the game accelerates the computer cars to be right on your tail.
But then you make one mistake and it takes a lifetime to catch up because you don't get the same catch-up boosts.

QUOTE(Jon Dough @ Jul 1 2008, 11:14 PM) Perhaps you are the one who has missed the point entirely. Just because you don't think GRiD provides that "feel of driving" doesn't mean everyone else out there will feel the same way. I guess you'd have plenty of experience driving "full tilt on Mulsanne in a LMP1 class car" when you trundle down to the pasar malam in your Proton Satria. "Malaysia Boleh" in all its glory. Has it ever crossed your arrogant and obviously deficient mind, that perhaps the only reason why you can't keep the car straight is because you suck at the game . Actually a comparison with Forza or for that matter any other racing game is valid. There are plenty of people out there each with their own particular set of tastes. Some people swear by Forza. Some people swear by Gran Tourismo. Some people even swear by that piece of f**king shit that EA calls Need for Speed (to each their own I guess). By putting comparisons out on forums like this, gamers not in the know can decide what particular racing title suits them. Obviously GRiD does not suit you. Perhaps you should have done a bit more research before you bought the game. wow! i'm very impressed of your total ignorance of that person experiences that you're quoting

He could outrun u in his car anyday dude.

QUOTE(Jon Dough @ Jul 2 2008, 12:41 AM) And I'm equally impressed with yours. The "driving feel" of a game is purely subjective. As is taste in driving games. His driving anecdote smacks of pretentious Internet bullsh*ttery that only suckers fall for. Sorry buddy. Since you said it, it's purely subjective then perhaps you should respect his opinion? Even if you want to disagree, i am pretty sure you could use a much friendlier approach instead of taking a pot shot at his credibility. What i do know is Mk84 had been staying low-profile, so perhaps you shouldn't doubt him too much.

impolite lyn forumer indeed....just a small opinion and you went all the way to insult someone that you dont even know with his picture.
