Q1 --> I already tried to set the font to SimHei (is this consider Unicode font?)....pls advise if not and then what font I should choose.
Q2 --> I opened the *.cue file with notepad, my notepad also cannot display the chinese word correctly even I set to SimHei, notepad still show as below picture.

try using Arial Unicode MS

btw, you are using an old version. latest is 0.9.6.9

Fariz, I already installed the font then set it on notepad and foobar, look still same.
I try add mp3, ape, cue files into foobar, still cannot view the chinese fonts try change Big5 and GB, still same.....
BTW, version is not a main issue, right?
My notepad still cannot show correct chinese fonts....sad..... really need help.....

i am totally newbie here. I like the way YAMJ (yet another juke box) style of album.

meaning. I have all the music files arrange by folder that contain the cuesheet, ape/flac and the album. How can I make it like a YAMJ where I can view the album, click on it and it start play music

Hi guys, not sure if this was already posted, forgive me if it was.

Foobar has an option of loading the song/track into your RAM fully. This enables a one time read from your HDD and the rest of the song will be played from RAM, reducing HDD access:

> open the preferences window, select advanced, select playback adjust the buffer or cache to 50MB or more if you play .flac / .wav files more than 50MB

this will utilize the memory instead, you can open the task manager and view the memory of foobar... if it was 11mb, u load a song of 5mb the memory usage when u start playing the song spikes to 16mb...

this reduces HDD read and for audiophiles it gives reassurance of a non-jitter playback ; ) but be careful, if your system is not fast enough or has little ram, it can cause a slowdown. but most systems with a C2D of at least 1.8 with 2GB DDR2 at least 400mhz ram should be able to do it, provided you are not pushing the proc and ram on something else. dont worry, it only loads the song u are CURRENTLY playing into the ram, it wont accumulate.

Hi all. I need your help. Is it possible to get shpeck and G-Force to work in foobar 1.0.2.1? I remember I seemed to get it working back in foobar 0.9.x, but then I upgraded and had to do a clean reinstall along the way, and forgot my configs that made it possible; and now, totally lost.

Also, milkdrop crashes whenever I try to set it to fullscreen. It says "Unable to create a DirectX device (D3DERR_NOTAVAILABLE)" What's going on with it? Help!
