I was given 1 month bonus by this company but pay by "installment" from this year jan - dec .. ( bonus / 12 ) each month add into salary. can i complain?

i would find it ridiculous to have such arrangement. most companies opt to pay by 3-4 months installment, this 12 months thingy is overboard. it's a reward after a year of hard work, and yet you have to wait. the hefty income tax imposed on my bonus is already driving me crazy, if to top with one, i will be exploited.

the company rational of retaining the staffs and create a balance of resignation ratio after bonus payout is not realistic, when one wish to leave, it's just a matter of time.

Currently work in Chinaman Family Biz Company with less than 30 staff(don't bother asking me the co name, not worth your attention). Give out incentive quartely, bonus also max 1 month, so total is about 1-2 months. Salary very low  . I'm flying off to a new job next week 

But i work in Esthetics group (EIG, manage Leonard drake, Aster spring salon and Distribute Dermalogica products) before, the bonus really depends, Some get up to 4 months, some get nothing. Year end they give out two payslip, 1 is for your normal monthly pay, another is your bonus statement. Those who only receive 1 envelope indicates that they got no bonus, even some old staff also kena, paiseh lor... everyone also know you tak dapat, then big co with lots of females staff sure the news spread very fast. Luckily I got, although I joined in December  .

Northport Bhd= no matter how useless a staff is, sure got 3-4 months bonus, excellent staff may get up to 6 months. My dad gets an average of 5.5 months bonus every year till he retire

if 12 month bonus but basic 50% lower than other also not use, can get crazy waiting for that year end bonus
