But it is on monthly contract, dont you feel that is kind of risky?

Btw, what is BI stand for? Can tell some basic idea of what is your job scope like? I bet that rm3k/day salary is asking you to do some superman job or climb the sky sort of work isnt it? Mind to tell us what is the catch here with that rm3k/day pay?

i am a freshie but i stated 2.8 k negotiable in my resume as expected salary. do you guys think its appropriate ?

What you put the expected salary in your resume doesnt matter, as long as you show them you are qualify for their requirement. The salary only will be discuss at the interview or after them confirm want to hire you.

Of course my meaning not asking you to put some ridiculous amount of expected salary for a freshie.

what is happening? When company pay rm0.50/km, everyone complain. Now they giving rm1.7/km, you say funny.
I think the company would really expecting you to travel a lot, and they willing to give out such allowance, last time got one company give out petrol card, you can use the card for yourself usage, and they have no limit of you using it as long as not pump on another person car.

Chances are that she's got really good connections.
Even if she is a top class ivy league grad, it would be difficult to end up as a member of your so called MDRT at such young age with little experience.
Mind you, normally ivy league grads don't even return to Malaysia to earn the weak Ringgit.

My friend whose age 25 or 26 also MDRT, and he spend around 1 or 2 years in the business to get that title.

Well yea 2.2k is pretty low but then again you are a fresh grads. My fren who is an engineer for a O&G company, he work as an engineer on an oilrig. I am not too sure wether he is a safety officer or engineer. He is very secretive about what he does. But he drives a M3 and own 2 condo in Mont Kiara. But we suspect tat he is a international Gigolo... hahahha

Added on February 13, 2009, 2:41 pmIf i might add... you have a bright future ahead of you provided you dont screw up or fall off the oil rig... smile.gif You will definately be in the elite group of working class when you have gain enough experience and move to a higher paying role. Even now you are a lot better off than most of us.

My friend in one of the O&G, and he owned 4 houses around kl, pj, sunway area, and 2 of them going to pay finish very soon or this year. And he is only 26 years old with 4 or 5 years working experience. He have no problem of forking out 400k (cash i think) for doing business if we (certain friends) have the good idea or plan.

In my opinion, engineer post hardly get 5 figures salary in manufacturing line
it is depend what grade of engineer, engineer level 1, level 2, senior engineer, staff engineer, principle engineer
& different engineer level with different salary range. In my company HR salary guide, fresh graduate with degree is 2.6k while master degree is 2.9k.It is hard to believe your friend get 5 figures salary with 4-5 years experience.

wonder what is his superior's salary..
*
Sorry to disappoint you, but my friend became a OM (operation manager) for a MNC semiconductor when he only worked for 3 years started out from fresh grad. Now already working for 5 years, still OM but changing department all around.
