10 years?
Even I also dare not make a recommendation..Most also I'm willing to say 5 years guaranteed, longer than that I can only be 80% sure it will still survive..
Among PSUs that have a chance to survive that long are server PSUs, or some

But if you're willing to reduce your target to 5 years, then you can pick any 450W model or above from the selection below.
Corsair (a bit expensive, but better than most, since manufactured by Seasonic)
Coolermaster Real Power (the 1000W one is a seriously good, it better than quite a lot of other 1KW units)
Tagan
Acbel
Thermaltake Toughpower

2nd priority picks (these PSUs are not actually bad, its just that there are some rumours I haven't fully checked out yet)
FSP/Fortron
Silverstone
Antec

hmm...
actually now I am looking for cosair one,e
but the price aint cheap lol....
and SST one even higher...

Changing PSU is a must for my current system d,
just wana depends changing to what PSU....

why I need so long term PSU?
coz I plan after upgrade this PSU,
will temporary stop upgrading d,
wana stick with the same system...

Wait until abt 1.5 years or 2 years later,
change a new system and wana bring the PSU forward,
and I wana make sure the PSU that I gona change is powerful, stable, long last enough till next changes...

its very lucky for a PSU could survive 5 years lifespan with 24/7 usage, still demand for 10 years tongue.gif .

A 500-600W PSU will last you for at least another 1-2 upgrades, after that is hard to say, uncertain how things will be then. Generally for PC stuff now planning upgrades into the future further than 2 years is not practical.

actually it is depend on what rig you gonna to build in future, maybe you will go for more high end or maybe you will downgrade, but generally if you looking for more than 5 years, at least 2nd line true power 700W is a MUST.

but i'm wonder, mostly the hardware developer such as procs, and gc claim their latest product much more energy saving, lower power consumption bla bla, but from the past 2 years, wattage of PSU increased quite a lot...

they didnt claim correctly lo,
they claim their product is more energy saving "per transister"
but the implementation of the transister is increase and increase,
even though the power per transister are drop,
the overall power consumption are increasing
