Patch 1.3 erases your favorites so re-add them. If after you've added them and they disappear, I've found that you can just Add Favorite, and leave the field empty and hit Enter, and they'll reappear.

Everdying: You can create your own channel. Make a LYN channel. As long is someone is in there it'll persist but once it's empty the channel goes dead.

Game is definitely worth it. There's 3 low ping servers, in Singapore. As for game modes, there's a few, but you can always check out the website for the complete feature list.
