what i noticed different PSN country offer a bit different selection of games. for example currently the psn sg dont have burnout paradise demo while psn us you can download the demo already. psn sg has disgea 3 demo already, but psn us not yet..just create multiple accounts, more demos, games and extras u can enjoy rclxms.gif

haha let me answer since i just upgrade my harddisk to 160GB. very easy

Running smoothly now. no problem at all

Please refer to this guide HERE

I think general rule of thumb is

NOTEBOOK 2.5 inch HDD
SATA ANY SIZE
RPM 5400RPM (Same as the PS3's original HDD)
*
The 'ANY SIZE' should refer to capacity but physically, only SATA 2.5" 9.5mm is supported. SATA 2.5" 12mm can't be fitted into the HDD cradle.

CIMB and EON can be done while purchasing anything then u call up hotline to split into 6~12 months with min purchased of rm1000 with 3% bank handling fee.

I think almost any bank can convert your purchase into installment by just calling them after the purchase. It will be interest free, only a one time charge of 3% applies.

I can confirm Public Bank and Citibank that can do this. Only I think the purchase must be RM500 or above.

Just apply for a new card with these banks. Nowadays so easy to apply and a lot of rewards and annual fees waived.

one note of caution, although it's fun and easy buying things on installment, please do remember to keep to your budget. Don't wanna have to sell things off just to pay off your debt..

no need 2 months...
2 weeks...CIMB
EON 1 month
HSBC 2 months
Public Bank (no idea)

u buying 40GB? with many games? if u hit the target of spending rm1400 console with 3 games at rm2k installement for 24 months "lo"
if u really crazy about games~~

yeah n my advise too...installement will kill u too better plan your financial nicely hehe

If you're making purchase, of course you need to have it planned or budgeted already. You should know your own financial status. tongue.gif

This easy payment installment doesn't hurt so much, no interest except for 3% processing fee. You can get the PS3 and pay RM200 x 12 months, or save RM197 in tabung every month and get the PS3 after 12 months later. And you also get reward points for that! Your choice. But please plan your bufget carefully. nod.gif

Installment schemes like AEON and stufs, these are the ones you should avoid. You could be paying double the retail price by the time you settle the payments. tongue.gif

Guys...
Last night I try to change my display settings to 1080 with a "tick" on 1080 column.

Weird thing is, my dell 2407WFP do not come with HD 1080 but how can i using the 1080 display settings? Or the PS3 will auto downscale to 720 to fit the best resolution?

i double check my monitor specs it only comes with 1 x DVI-D - 24 pin digital DVI without HDCP. Question is

What are the differences where in output the PS3 signal to my LCD with HDCP Or without HDCP? rclxub.gif

Thanks smile.gif

dell 2407 comes with HDCP capable
you just need the HDMI to DVI cable

there is no HDCP adapter

2407 will automatically use HDCP when there is 1080p

Which means now I do not have the functions of 1080 for my monitor, but now I had enabled the display settings to 1080 n 720 from my PS3. So can I say it hook up to display settings of 720 instead?

Eii i Google around n saw 2407WFP no HDCP ...only 30" where it cost rm8999 sweat.gif

Yup I'm connecting my PS3 with DMI-->DVI. With the last phase u said..

Your 1080p signal will be converted to 1080i with 720p monitors (HD capable).

Why not just get an LCD TV?

720p LCD TV so cheap nowadays, 32" can get just above 2K what.
