If you read carefully my post, you can playback a mpeg2 or vob with h264 video and AC3 5.1 audio larger than 4GB. Only Divx coded files are restricted to 2GB filesize.

mouse for PS3 is called FragFX.....

COD4 doesn't support mouse and keyboard but UT3 does.

where did you get that info from?... i know lah today is 1st april....muahahahahahaha PS3 hdd is not FAT32, it has it own filesystem which is encrypted. For external storage is must be formatted with FAT32 in order PS3 to recognise it....so now do you get it....

Mr. Otroman, I've tried my PS3 with my brother's Samsung R7 and I've got no problemo using HDMI connected to it using 1080i. Maybe it's your tv that cause the problem, why don't you test it with another PS3 (try to find a friend that has a PS3) and connect it to your tv.

@otroman,there's a difference between component and hdmi, one is analog and the other is digital.

@toottut89, external hdd can't run any PS3 games whether it's full or demos.

@toottut89, PS3 lens problem is not so major like M$ucks X360 3ROD. If you got hit with 3ROD, you can't even boot the console but PS3 lens problem, you still can boot the console and enjoy your movies and songs...the faulty rate of lens problem is really low not like 3ROD problems. I'm saying this base on my experience where I've repaired more than 80 3ROD and only 3 for PS3 lens problem in 1 yr duration. Get a PS3 and you won't regret it as now PS3 is much cheaper than X360.

I think it's your tv....just try out my suggestion earlier....try to find a friend that has a PS3 and hook it up to your tv...

There are 2 types of lenses for PS3 right now. The 60G,80G and early batch of 40G are using the single lens and the newly 40G models are using the dual lens. The latter seems to be cheaper.

force it to 1080p by deselecting 720p at PS3 Display section...

PS3 casing is made from plastic and it's prone to scratches. Once scratch you can make those scratch marks go. That's why once I bought mine I put on the skingard.

Added on June 14, 2008, 9:16 pm20GB is still enough for your gaming needs, unless you want to put movies, mp3 and pics then you might consider to upgrade the internal hdd. I have 60GB of hdd and still it enough for me.
