QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 22 2007, 02:40 PM) When they succeed with more than 90%, it doesn't need your wish to get it, after more than 90%, it is mandatory for them to grab all the remaining shares in the market, you can't keep it even you want to. At that point, they would still offer me the same price now right? Would not be any lower right? |

looks like huge volume queueing at 0.150 (which is also my price) but it is hovering between yellow/green zone, which is 0.160/0.165 |

But if you compare, Sinopec actually has higher premium than PetroChina but Sinopec is a component of Hang Seng...

Why no one buying hsi-c3 ? it move along with HK hsi, I have just sold my hsi-c3 at 0.23 this afternoon, and earn almost 2k. I'm targeting to drop to 0.175 and go in again.
the current price so much cheaper than it IPO price, so i guess the premium must be very low by now. Further more, this share expiry date is way to come. Just my 2 cents. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Nov 22 2007, 03:16 PM) Investment banks like OSK or CIMB (the CW issuer) will be laughing all the way (if they don't hedge against the mothershare) when they see HSI plunge deeper and deeper, by then all HK-CW are worthless when expired (sorry no offence those those hk-cw holders, just in case the worst happens), then it means they don't need to pay a single cent for the issued cash settled call-warrant. Hi Cherroy,Sorry for noob questions. Here is something let I not quite understand. Let say CW issuer issues a CW, let say ABC-C1 at 1.00 with conversion ratio 1:1, and conversion price at 2.00. And current market price for ABC mother share is 2.00. Let say on the day of expiry, the mother share shoot up like no body business to 5.00. Does it mean that the CW issuer will lost 4.00 since they have to cash settle all the CW? If above is true, it seems like it's gamble between CW issuer and us..... |
