Wah this theater macam kedai jual Collector's item. I love the use of wood on the screen wall and the little sconce above the screen is a nice touch. Furthermore, the ambience of the room is very homey. I can live in this theater. Congrats.

I feel like opening all those boxes and playing around with what's inside...

You guys are too kind with your compliments. Btw I have a visitor coming for to my house to see the AV/HT setup this coming Saturday morning. I'd be happy to accomodate a couple more visitors. Please PM me if anyone here interested for a visit.

Dun have picture of the installation process. Here is a "sort of" step by step:
1. Cut cloth to correct length and width.
2. Apply contact adhesive 2 foot at a time. After you apply the a very thin layer of adhesive let it dry for about 2-3 minutes.
3. Attach the cloth, slowly stretching it as you stick it on to the frame. Using a smooth pice of wood/plactic/ruler rub it against the cloth to ensure there is good contact with the adhesive

Hope this helps

Err... lemme try to explain that entire section my AV room...

That entire area is a large piece of "wooden wall" that covers that entire wall from the floor to the ceiling, the nice part that will be visible is veneered. The screen part is not veneered as it will be covered by the screen, so it is left "naked". Since cannot see, no need to waste time and money to veneer it lah.

Now the frame for the blackout cloth is just the 4 planks of wood that is cut to the correct size and then nailed & glued to the "wooden wall".
