Seriously, I don't see flipsilent/shutup worth sacrifice for battery life, as accelerometer will drain the battery quite fast?
Or I was wrong that it won't eat up battery much? |

QUOTE(pigcat @ Jan 25 2008, 10:50 PM) It's Berjaya Plaza, opposite Time Square la, the old looking plaza with starbucks in front. oo haha srry la i never to Not really kiasu la just simply say but for sure they won't sell you spare parts, you have to pay the labour fees as well. Unfortunately I never try to mess with N95 housing, you need T5 or T6 star screw driver (not sure what's the exact name) to open/close the housing. Keypad no need screw driver so I pasang myself lo. TS or anywhr around it at all. only like sight seeing eheh well tq for ur info bro. |

QUOTE(ddww @ Jan 26 2008, 02:11 PM) yeah.. i understand wat you mean... the color processed is too cold... haiz... i found out that my N73 can produce a warmer color compare with N95 I wonder why GSMarena never mention the N95 family still producing purple'ish photos compared to N82? They got colour blind izzit lol... Anyway, photoshoped version of the fruits, just did "auto colour" and boost some contrast...Nicer? Although those oranges still looked over processed with contrast, but if don't compare with original I think OK... ![]() This post has been edited by pigcat: Jan 26 2008, 03:32 PM |

Some experimental with contrast setting...
Default ![]() Contrast +3 (means press "up" 3 times) ![]() Contrast +5 ![]() Looks like +3 not much difference in a super sunny day...And I think contrast is not needed in sunny days anyway. If a little cloudy then might need to +3... But anyway, this phone will only take good pictures when it's really sunny... |

QUOTE(HolyCross @ Jan 26 2008, 06:29 PM) We're having the same phone mah, maybe practice practice a bit will do? More food attack~ ![]() Umm...Yummy chicken rice... ![]() Let's peep a bit on the chicken... Chicken rice both taken with +3 contrast, ngam ngam... Here's more contrast setting experiments: ![]() No contrast setting... ![]() Contrast +3 ![]() Contrast +5 Comparison of Leisure Mall shots ![]() Contrast +3 ![]() Contrast +5 Basically the contrast setting is basically hit and miss, sometimes you need +3, sometimes +5. However most of the time +3 is closer to the reality, but like the drinks photo it need +5 to look appealing... I also found out with the correct contrast setting the photo somewhat looked sharper, the full size Leisure Mall shots I can actually see the emotion on the face of the aunty sitting in the booth lol... QUOTE(kurz @ Jan 27 2008, 02:21 PM) Yup definitely better than no contrast setting. Here's some flower shots:Flower 1: ![]() +3 ![]() +5 Flower 2: ![]() +3 ![]() +5 As you can see +5 is definitely more pleasing to look at and more colorful as well, however +3 is definitely closer to what I saw in person. I also noticed with contrast setting it seems to overcome the purple'ish hue (although not fully). Oh if you want to edit photos after taking them it's better to stick with +3 as you can see the shadow area almost become all black but compared to +3 you can still see the leafs underneath. QUOTE(mstr583 @ Jan 27 2008, 06:19 PM) Yup all macro mode... It was very "sai" this afternoon when I took the pictures, so I quick quick take some then cabut... Really hope Nokia will update the camera driver like the one in N82 so we can also take nicer pictures...Currently the colour is still somewhat little on the "cold" side, not always, could be better... |
