Yup, cannot play. RMVB is very popular in China, we mostly want to watch anime with chinese subtitles so have to deal with rmvb hehe...Sad cause since already converted once and need to convert again the quality will degrade even more...

sienz...s60 plays everything from avi to flv, etc...but not rmvb.

though not popular, S60 also don't have software to play wmv as well...

mine is V11.0.026..

i only have this problem when accessing pictures in the Gallery > Images & Video

but for Gallery > All Files, everthing is fine.

all the formats and codec are working fine before this...no one needs wmv. the only reason why we have wmv is so that microsoft can enforce their digital rights management (DRM).

So if there's WMV codec ever going to release then you don't install ah, it's useless one...

off topic: i try my best to avoid any wmv or wma files...honest

Sometimes if your favourite video die die only available in wmv, and converting them to other format will degrade the quality a lot, then you'll cry loh?

You see, the point is having various codec is always a good thing, it's not like you only install mp4 and divx on your PC, then if there's xvid or something you cannot play then you go to convert? Just like rmvb la, if your favourite anime all die die already converted to rmvb, you'll look for codec first to play on yoru phone or convert them first?

really nth to worry cos most videos will be available in either avi, realplayer, etc format...
anime in rmvb, youtube in flv (regardless of the pre-youtube format), BT movies in avi.. hence no need for wmv.
anyway, i have installed k-lite mega codec pack on my pc, so there is no format i cant play.

Ah...Nevermind...

back to topic...

N95 8GB roxxx (after N82 )

wish they have one player for all format for this n95.. like vlc player..

Nooooo you don't need that, cause wmv is useless and shouldn't be included...

Divx should be better than wmv... hehehe...
BTW, N82 are better than N95 or n95 8gb?
