actually you can do it, just use your imagination. i agree with you. but at least you can hide on somewhere like behind the floppy, top/back of psu etc. if use ide cables, try fold it. if cant really hide those power cables, try use cable tie group them together.

some of the them giving quite nice idea like running cables on the mobo.

Well.. Even a 0.13Micron chip based proc also can run well. Ray was owning one and i think he is satisfy with the performance. Pengster were owning a proc which are same speed as urs, and he was rocking with it. I dont see any of the S478 user here werent satisfy with their proc.

They are not slow. The slow issues that u faced might caused by other thing. Do a system clean up or format ur system to fresh. U will see hows ur proc perform in a problem free windows. And also, ur ram play the important roll as well.

P/s: Well guys, just a small survey around. Was wander how much can my GC worth for now.. Not to sell la.. Dont get wrong. Just wanna know its current market value.

@fylon,edmin and pengster are talking on camera lense which i'm not familiar.   I think general_odin's proc is good if it has HT feature. I'm very happy with my current rig,no swaet to handle any applications and gaming.(Never try Crysis before,GC too lausy).

@edmin,your office there still using P4 1.7GHz cpu? That's rocks as you have 768MB of RAM. I've have a 1.7GHz also but it's a S423 with 512MB of RAM.Light application is still good for use but when comes to gaming it will slow a bit.

his cables are alot better than yours. at least the cacing is at the back, not hanging in the air. you can try arrange like his and push all ide cables to the back.

yours quite ok already. just manage a bit on your ide cables. try look for some cable management guide. if i were you, i will fold it and make it "stick" to the back casing. looks better, tidy and not blobking air. what fan you want to add?? rear fan perhaps.

was reading this 478 thread for long time ago, very happenning man! hahah! 

altho its an old system but i find it very interesting, dunno why and dunno how to describe...hahaha!!
mayb recently ppl around keep talking abt 775 la, dual core la, AM2 la...bla bla bla...
