u din know cats? they are chill as F  .  if they decide to scratch u , means u are sohai

sos : ayam 3 cat owner

Cat is chill because they have the freedom to socialize with other cats and move around freely.

Meanwhile, dogs here are stuck within their owner's properties 24/7, not being trained properly or being walked outside often.

Like America, most dogs are chill too.

Ahaks.

Good, was eating there that day and couldn't stand the constant screaming from poodle and smaller dogs

Dogs are not allowed inside shopping malls in Australia as well, only licensed service dog are allowed

I'm more to safety and cleanliness.

Imagine someone name Tyrone bring his pet pitbull to mall, such breed of dog is known to be aggressive.

Also don't know if pet owner will clean pet feces/pee when the animal decided to do business on the spot.

Overall, ban pets, dogs, cats, birds, to be fair.

The issue is with Megah Rise, Jaya One and etc going against state rule <-- according to DAP

So can expect domino effect on those malls once this precedent is set. No more doggo in mall soon
*
actually jaya one has a dedicated section for pets . just cover few food establishment, n open air areas

the line cannot be crossed, and its just a shy away from the exit . if remember correctly ends until the gigi coffee .

nobody brings pet up into the shopping area .

It's not the whole mall for those you mentioned

Certain sections. For Jaya one The square is. Certain parts of the school where got pet grooming it is. The whole school is not

Same with the mines and paradigm, for mines some floors are designated for pet entrance and exit

Also they could also have complained. They had to spend extra to comply with this regulation but someone else come to the scene and didn't need to

All jokes aside, this is a very bad idea to be honest.

1. Those pet will shit and pee anywhere. Even if the owner clean it up but it still leave some stain, that is if the owner is a responsible type. Those who're not, they'll just leave it.

2. Dangerous dog breed like pitbull, I don't care what people said about their pitbull is obedient or good dog or soft hearted. Still won't take any chances with them, those breeds won't stop when they attack someone or other pets. Imagine the dog attacking some kids, stitches, bruises, probably lost some body parts.

Conclusion, this is a terrible idea.
*
for #1 other countries can implement it well and make plenty of pet friendly malls, why cant we?

but yes i agree #2 that large dogs shouldnt be allowed, especially if known dangerous breeds

it's weird how it took a PuAS member to say this....that also proves you never and can't travel outside of malaysia
because outside of malaysia, pets are allowed EVERYWHERE

they have strict pet laws and the pets are allowed to be brought everywhere

Point is this is the kind pet owners that we have over here. Not like the sample demographic is gonna be all that different for Mid Valley mall vs. Sunway mall goers.

Unless the mall enforce all pets have to be inside pet carriers or wear diapers, this scenario is pretty much expected. Nobody want to step/slip on some animal urine/feces when going to the mall.

Ppl these days stooped down to low as animals 🤦‍♀️ can’t help it

Someone has to open pet restaurant and see whether the pet owners will consume their pet food or not

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Dec 18 2025, 02:27 PM)
Mall is a business premise which under Local State/City Government jurudisction.

If PH state government and the DAP ADUN fella cannot fix the lemon law, so voter have to fix the politician.

Is like someone complain why allow to wear sexy into the restaurant, therefore ban the sexy dress.

even Lawyer question, where is the written law no pet allow in the Mall? Is the Mall even JAKIM certified?
*
There is no written law because mall it is under commercial license and there is loophole for pets allowed indoors subject to tenant agree or not

I believe this U turn is not because of the public but more of tenants making noise because they have the policy to subject whether their pets allow in their store as they have monitor that policy

Hiding behind state directive just plain cowardice and to save face

There is no jakim certified but soon another money making venture for them just to certify, comply and audit ventures

Outdoor no issue the problem is indoor hence why Megah Rise and Jaya one no issue because it is only permitted in open areas and outdoor
