QUOTE(pakmulau @ Dec 11 2025, 12:29 PM) How come night time driving and music full blast can use so much battery power Wasting unnecessary energy lor. Is this real fact or got other logic reason U turn on the lights for 4-5 hours straight vs none how? How many amps gone? Blasting music loudly or added additional power anps will sap power. On ICE, the additional power will come from a larger alternator or additional batteries. This post has been edited by acbc: Dec 11 2025, 01:44 PM |

QUOTE(OldSchoolJoke @ Dec 11 2025, 11:53 AM) noob here, how come Andy Loo gets much higher mileage than Jere Lim. Because this Jere Lim always full throttle aka kaki berat, sure lah cannot get 360-380kmthought town would be much better mileage than highway For me to commute weekdays morning to/from office around 30-40km, i can get around 360km range on KL traffic. |

QUOTE(red_satu @ Dec 11 2025, 12:21 PM) But one or two cell dying won't cause <300km range. I drive with a heavy foot also get 360km on average. wasnt it commonly heard for toyota prius that 1 or 2 broken battery module can cause the whole battery to be unusable (cant hold a charge). dying battery cell could drag the norminal voltage value to drop causing healthy battery not being able to utilize its remaining charges.regardless, its always the driving style that dictate how much range that they could get, but that doesnt mean manufacturer should reject every kind of cases just because the system said its healthy. a 'fair' reading on the battery could mean battery is actually dead or perform badly btw. Lol, i got around 320 km on highway while trying to maintain speed around 110 km/h , it would be worse if there are lots of cars hogging the road as i need to decelerate and accelerate again

QUOTE(brian81st @ Dec 11 2025, 12:19 PM) EV depends a lot on the way you drive. i see. now i need to re-think to get EV in futureif you accelerate fast all the time, and sudden brake all the time, or you like driving above 140km/h on highway, then definitely ev is not for you. EV loses a lot of charge accelerating and sudden brake, and also at high speed. if you drive more calmly, you can get roughly 90+% of wltp on city drive, and 70+% on highway drive |

QUOTE(max_cavalera @ Dec 11 2025, 12:05 PM) lekeh la.my Honda CRV RS hybrid eHEV do frequent 150km/h for short sprint racing with Haval H6 or Jaecoo J7 PHEV on PLUS highway from Jitra to KL, stayed and ronda2 there for 1-2 days, then come back Jitra still can manage no problem. i tell you, EV is just perfect for daily town driving going to work or maybe short trips <300km radius from your home. hybrid > all honda > all dickybird liked this post
