CVT got many types.

For turbo, need the steel belt type. Proton is using rubber belt with steel ribs. Good for low boost turbo application.

U always here OCH problem on CFE engines. CVT problems only after 10 years or prematurely due to lack of maintenance. 50% of Exora CFE owners never changed the CVT fluid every 40k. I changed mine every 30k because it's city only car.
