this, people's mind sometimes are very skewed wanting to be those top dog white collar people living in big houses, drive big cars etc etc

but in actuality its the working class blue collar folks that are the most important to the country's economy

I know of old uncle who was in iron window grille business, not highly educated, but drives merz and retired early to travel the world. Meanwhile degree holders still take MRT to work till retirement. It is all about supply and demand. Less competitive industry ends up get paid well and can afford to accumulate wealth fast to retire early. Everyone chasing a degree ends up diluting its value.

There is an aunty slaughtering chicken at the pasar near my place..She said, u all makan gaji salary 1 month around 2/3K...I can earn that much money in 1 day....Dont look down on such people, its an honest trade...

Be thankful that you at least can sell fish. And people will be proud of you that, in spite of having a degree, you are still able to sell fish. And they will also be proud of you for not being the rempit or doing some illegal stuff or vices, or just lazy around like some puak type, who have privileges and govt support.

Also remember, the most successful people in terms of wealth (of progressing in legal real business), don't even have a degree. Many are high school dropouts!
