Hmm those days I used to hv an iPAQ 1945 and really had a lot of fun with it.

Hey, we all have our "firsts" like first-date, first-car, first-time-getting-dumped... I remember when I got my first PDA too...Which was about a month or two ago.

yeah back then the famous stuff was like ipaq, sony clie, treo ...

i was using a 3417 .... then moved on and got a 4700 ...

aihhhh ... those were the days ...

Hey, anyone remember how much they used to cost back then???

1. suddenly can't switch on wifi
2. follow by can't detect sim card but wifi ok oledi?

can anybody tell me how n y? tq

You flashed ROM a? Or installed any programs?

my 3417 was like 1.3 or 1.4k back then ... cant remember how much edy ...

At least they're not that expensive as compared to modern day PDAs... Look at the high end HTC Touches... Over RM3k...

ea........... i didnt flashed rom but i installed one game by then i didnt noticed till the next day... then try hard reset 2 times.. wifi ok oledi but suddenly no radio signal.. third party software can destroy software meh? didnt knw wo.. hehe

now send to repair liao...

i doubt it. but i dunno, what did u flash rom, did u flash wrongly, etc etc

Hard-reset it. Sending to SIS they will hard-reset anyway. so u try hard-reset, see if problem solved, if not, send to SIS

I having some problems with my TC. After reading 32 pages of previous posting, I found nobody reporting the same problem I am facing now except in page 22 where one guy with "Device Locked" issue which is quite similar to my case.

Issue:

1) 3D Cube launcher - Programmed one of the cube with key lock function. Sometime key lock cube is disabled and I have to reassign the cube again. But after a while the same problem occurs again and I am unable to lock the device with the 3D cube.

2) Backlight - sometime the backlight just turned off by itself especially when I am in outdoor. I totally cannot see what is happening on the screen. I have to go to the setting to turn on the backlight.

3) Screen reflection - can't see the GPS while driving in the morning sun.

4) Device locked - but sometime still can operate the phone even the device is still locked. The worst thing is unable to unlocked the phone and have to reboot the phone.

This phone is almost perfect except the above issues.

1. is this the tf3d cube you are talking bout here? if thats the one i have not used it before, as i was using s2u2 ... never used the built in lock

2. there is no light sensor on the unit, most likely it switched off after the preset time and u can see the screen, thats why unable to unlock - i have not got this issue before

3. the screen protector has got a mirror finish, nothing to do with the unit ... go change that to something non-reflective(btw the one u have is brand new, most likely 2 weeks before i sold to u)

4. what did u meant by u can still use the phone when its locked? like i mentioned earlier, i do not use the built in lock, i use s2u2

*** that rom is original rom, virgin - maybe u can try to get the latest rom and install, i recall there was a newer rom for it ... as the ori rom might have bugs ...
