QUOTE(Bowhunter @ Dec 28 2008, 11:12 PM) What is s2u2? The program is still in the SD card? I think the original HTC cube got bugs. As I said the launch button will always disabled by itself expecially in my case the key lock button. Some questions need to be answered by earl-ku.If you were using s2u2 without a glitch then I better install it to replace the cube. About the backlight issue, it not only happened in outdoor but sometime indoor. As example when the phone rings, but the backlight is not lighted. Under indoor condition I still can barely see the screen but in outdoor environment there is no way I could see anything. Then about the "Device Locked" issue I am very sure there must be some bugs or programme crashes. I don't face this problem in my Dopod. I wanted to upgrade it to WM6.1 but the ealier discussion in this thread suggested that our original Malaysia set is locked for upgrade. I am not sure this is true or not. Anyone has installed the 6.1? As a TC user, I will try to help out a bit...I'm using stock ROM also. S2U2 is basically a lock/unlock application which has other functions that implement the Iphone style finger sliding gesture. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412418 I would suggest to put your key lock/device lock button on Today; lock your device on a single tap. Backlight issue, never happened to my TC. Device Locked. In my case, the hardware buttons still light up when pressed even I have locked the device (key lock). Happens to my TC once in a while, so far 3-4 times after 6 months of usage. Never serious, I just need to soft reset it. In your case, it might have something to do with your buggy key lock button programmed on the cube. Yes you can flash it to WM6.1 but it would void your warranty, I think. |

Quoted from Readme.txt, hope it helps.
Q. How to change wallpaper? A. Create a jpg file with resolution the same as your device (QVGA is 240 x 320; VGA is 480 x 640); rename it to "wallpaper.jpg"; copy it to the gfx folder (default is \program files\s2u2\gfx\); restart iLock2. And the file "wallpaperL.jpg" is for the Landscape mode. P/S: TC is a QVGA device. |

Another way is to use S2V to make one of your folders the Wallpaper folder. S2U2 will randomly display those pictures in that folder as your wallpaper when you set it.

QUOTE(Bowhunter @ Jan 10 2009, 10:49 PM) Must get the latest version. The previous versions of S2U2 are kind of buggy and drain battery life. The latest version, which was released last month, is better but still a bit buggy. The greatest improvement is it doesn't drain battery anymore. Btw, love the fact that, the TouchFLO Cube can still be called up without unlocking the device, but this can be disabled. |
