Most eatery and farmers employ foreign workers, need to pay at least minimum wages, cost is higher, so is price.

as for consumers; if their companies don't make good profit, how to pay high celery?

Well, who dominates the economy gets to simply raise prices with a crooked grin on their faces? We all know the core problems nut mostly shy away from uncomfortable arguments coming from these fairest race defenders here.

In the end price still being raised every semester with every new property or cars these hawkers purchased. kek.

not really, depending on area
i would say half of the area if they increase, they will notice a decrease in customer and they're not coming back anymore
thn half would not be affected

it depends what you're selling and where

Last time chicken price increase, hawkers increase their food price. But when chicken price menurun, hawkers price remain the same. Then egg price increase also they increase. But now egg price dirt cheap but never see hawkers decrease price. Now kpkb menagih simpati.

Eating out is a luxury in developed countries. Since Malaysia is on the way to becoming a developed country, eventually people cannot afford to eat out and have to cook themselves. This is the way.

They are charging 300% on that egg which cost RM0.3X-0.50 at most. If it was a stand alone fried egg we can slightly accept that, but adding a f@rking egg to noodles is minimal effort and didn’t incur much extra cost.

It’s all greed, not to mention the way they increase price by RM0.50 each time is plain robbery and has zero economic basis.

Of koz la, u think this day and age hawkers is content with just driving wira or vannett doing their small time f&b business?

They not stupid, they see nanyang, oriental and other similar cafe can sell so expensive yet it’s always got queue, they also start to charge rm10bucks for hawker food la - which is still selling no problem fyi.

You not the only one want to drive porsche and stay semi-d, bungalow.

Their grade A also around RM14 also. If he uses the Omega one then it's RM20, but hawkers usually don't even use A grade, let alone Omega.

Come CNY sure naik harga again. Cakap sahaja tak naik. Then gov tell ask us eat less more healthy to avoid obesity. End of story.
Gov will say they have no hand in price rising... but later increase min wage again.
