its a legit question, so you want thai rescuer to provide them with non halal food?

I dint see any type m malaysia ngo went and help those flooded in hatyai

If they go help they can provide halal food to those stranded

They are allowed to eat non-halal food at emergency time.

From socmed, I see many of them eating cup noodle. Not sure halal of not though. Maybe /k who are familiar with 7E Thai can commend.

Hatyai got alot of halal food la. even malaysia style mamak shop is also there.

There is a reason why Malaysia (specially Malay) pack the place because there is abundance of halal food shop

Now hatyai is flooding and they are stuck at hotel, they cannot go out to buy food and can only wait for rescuer to provide food

The food supply from the rescuer might contain pork because during these times they will supply any food available

QUOTE
Hat Yai continues to face severe flooding, with experts warning that the city's economic zone will remain submerged at least until mid-December.

Assoc Prof Seree Supratid, director of the Climate Change and Disaster Centre at Rangsit University and vice president of the National Disaster Warning Council Foundation, said on Tuesday that despite falling water levels upstream in Sadao district, downstream flows will increase before reaching the city, exacerbating the flooding.

"At 7am [on Tuesday], floodwaters had risen nearly two metres compared to [Monday]. Homes previously submerged by one metre are now completely underwater, while low-lying houses in areas such as Khuan Lang Municipality are submerged up to their rooftops," he said in a Facebook post.

He estimated that rainfall between Nov 21–25 reached about 850 millimetres, generating 1,200–1,500 million cubic metres of runoff. With natural drainage and pumping capacity, it could take roughly 10 days for water to recede, further delayed by high sea levels expected until the end of November.
