Hello, so i accidentally top up quite an amount of money for my tng card for toll use, but now i want to withdraw the extra, is it possiblee ?

you can if its a visa tng card..
else you'll need to cancel the card, submit refund then buy a new card

Cashout back to debit card. Ppl being doing that for ages, top-up using cc then transfer to dc. Deswai tng charged for topping up with cc nowadays.

Last time I lost my card.

And lucky because I do register that card before. So I went to TNG website, mark card, claimed it as lost and request refund.

I get money within 5d.

Not sure about that card still usable or not. But if you really need money and worth the hassle, you might try. New card rm10 only

Previously my touch and go accidentally broke into two and go to their website, cancel the card, they fully refund within 5d, then get a new card from the petrol station 😴🐝⛽

There's an expiry date on your IC's TnG. If it's already expired, you can request for refund.

Might be able to request refund even if it's not expired yet and it's inactive? Not sure how to mark it as inactive.

i believe should be same method by submitting a refund request.. the IC is still going to be valid for you but the TNG may be no longer valid i guess..

Yes, this is the link provided to me when I contacted Touch N Go customer service several days ago. However, my question is different as I was inquiring if I can renew my TouchN'Go Card which is about to expire in January 2026 which is about 2 months away. The customer service mentioned there is no service to renew the old card which goes against my brother-in-law's information that he renewed his Touch'NGo card at the TouchN'Go service centre at Nu Sentral earlier, free-of-charge. Hence I"m not sure which information is true. If the old car that is going to expire can't be renewed, users have to purchase a new Touch'NGo card.

AFAIK, you cannot renew your TnG card. You can extend validity of the TnG card in your IC for another 3 years after the initial 10 years if I'm not mistaken.

This extension may have been done automatically when you top up at LRT stations. At least that was what happened with mine. The girl at the counter didn't inform me anything, I just noticed that the expiry date on my receipt has been extended for another 3 years after one of the top ups. If it has already been extended once, you have to change your IC to be able to use TnG on it again after expiry. Personally, I just bought a new TnG charm tag for future use and easier top ups with NFC.
