KUALA LUMPUR – [DIKEMASKINI] Mampu menjana pendapatan sekitar RM76,000 hasil menjual kandungan video lucah serta eksploitasi seksual kanak-kanak di ruang siber antara kegiatan dilakukan seorang remaja berusia 17 tahun yang dibongkar menerusi Op Pedo yang dijalankan antara 22 hingga 30 September lalu.

Operasi khas membanteras jenayah bahan penganiayaan seksual kanak-kanak (CSAM) dijalankan Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) ini merupakan kerjasama dengan Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (MCMC).

Selain itu, turut ditahan dalam siri operasi sama melibatkan beberapa individu lain terdiri terdiri daripada guru, jurutera, pereka grafik, tukang masak, pelajar sekolah dan IPT serta penganggur.

Operasi ini turut membongkarkan kandungan video lucah yang dijual antara harga serendah sekitar RM30.

Ketua Polis Negara, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Ismail berkata, remaja terbabit antara 31 suspek lelaki berusia antara 12 hingga 71 tahun yang ditahan dalam operasi serentak di 37 lokasi seluruh negara.

"Remaja berusia 17 tahun itu mencatat aliran kewangan sebanyak RM76,000 hanya dalam tempoh sembilan bulan pertama tahun ini.

"Ini menunjukkan peralihan tahap moral yang amat membimbangkan dalam kalangan generasi muda," katanya dalam sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Bukit Aman di sini pada Jumaat.

Katanya, operasi disertai 206 pegawai dan anggota daripada 14 kontinjen PDRM dan MCMC itu turut membawa kepada rampasan 82 peranti digital termasuk komputer, telefon bimbit, modem dan storan digital.

"Hasil analisis awal menemui lebih 880,000 fail digital mengandungi bahan CSAM dan pornografi dewasa, peningkatan lebih 20 kali ganda berbanding operasi pertama yang dijalankan pada Disember tahun lalu.

"Sebanyak 29 kertas siasatan telah dibuka di bawah pelbagai peruntukan undang-undang termasuk Seksyen 8 dan 10 Akta Kesalahan-Kesalahan Seksual Terhadap Kanak-Kanak 2017, Seksyen 292 Kanun Keseksaan serta Seksyen 6(1)© Akta Imigresen 1959/63," katanya.

Menurutnya,15 daripada 17 suspek yang dituduh di mahkamah telah mengaku bersalah dan dikenakan denda antara RM1,000 hingga RM10,000, manakala dua lagi memilih untuk dibicarakan.

"Modus operandi dikesan melibatkan aktiviti memuat turun, menyimpan dan mengedar bahan lucah kanak-kanak melalui aplikasi seperti Telegram, Whats App, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Dark Web serta Cloud Storage.

"Sebahagian suspek turut berperanan sebagai pentadbir kumpulan Telegram dan menawarkan akses berbayar kepada bahan CSAM menggunakan transaksi e-dompet dan kod QR perbankan," katanya.

Mohd Khalid berkata, pihaknya memandang serius kesalahan seksual terhadap kanak-kanak dalam talian.

"Ia bukan sahaja mengancam kesejahteraan generasi muda, malah berpotensi mencetuskan jenayah kekerasan lain yang boleh menggugat keselamatan negara.

"Ibu bapa turut dinasihatkan supaya memantau penggunaan peranti digital anak-anak, meningkatkan kesedaran keselamatan siber dalam keluarga serta menyemai nilai moral dan akhlak dalam mendepani cabaran dunia digital," katanya.

Tegasnya, PDRM akan terus memperkukuhkan kolaborasi strategik dengan SKMM serta agensi dalam dan luar negara bagi memastikan kanak-kanak dilindungi daripada eksploitasi, penderaan dan diskriminasi.

I feel like these people are already targeted by cops for having and downloading CSAM, just coincidence that they have normal adult prawn in their possession so might as well charge them with it as well.

AFAIK, those who watches CSAM are usually marked and got targeted by cops already. Possession of normal prawn even though it's illegal by our law i feel macam not strongly enforced or else 90% of guys is in prison.

As for CSAM, that is indeed serious and cops usually goes tough against these child offenders.

Yup. Unless the police is on power tripping they usually don't go after people's phone randomly just to look for normal adult prawn.

The law against possession of normal prawn is there but i think is not enforced strongly. If they do, confirmed penjara not enough with 90% or more of all adult men kena prisoned.

These people are mostly probably already marked due to having in possession and downloading CSAM.
