i somehow convince them its a sport equipment n paid the taxes
if your book/comic not those porn magazine etc, should be no issue 1
you can just say its the cover image a bit inappropriate and open up let them see the content
Thanks for the info.

Do this. Usually customs will stop items with a high declared value.
My mum from US sent me a bunch of branded clothes and she put 250usd value on the form.
I had to go pick it up from the Port Klang customs depot. T_T
Problem was my mum used her new husband's surname so didn't match my IC. Paid 100+ for "taxes" and that was that.
I recommend you do something about your shipment ASAP.
If a package got stopped, it's unlikely that customs will change their decision.
The item itself isn't important to me. I just buy and ship in quite a few comics (Marvel, DC and some smaller and independent publishing) every month.

Based on my years of experience with them importing goods. This is not a very big issue. Not to worry. You won't be punished by going to jail or receiving any fines. Just wait for the inspection to conclude. That's all. Stay calm, and be patient. You will receive what is allowed to be received.
Anyone stopped by KDN? In this case it's a KDN form, after closer look. It's a penahanan form. As I think the restricted stuff is quite broad, I should actually ask the seller about the content of the books/ comics, to avoid bringing in anything that they deem as unsuitable.
