What about Marketing? seems very tough environment once they are in 50s, because they tell me a lot of marketing competition from younger people and barriers to entry is very low due to anyone can become marketing manager.

Unless you look for lower position or pay cut.
At such age, you hold for the position till 55 for the EPF. The high salary and compounding will accelerate your EPF money fast. For those who know how to calc.
