That breadth of skillset has never occurred to me as unrealistic, partly because that's what I've did; work across a wide domain in the last 25 years of work.What I think is effectively happening is employers are back to looking for generalists because the skill gap can be addressed with AI. You can't get top quality or refinement - but you can deliver a lot of "good enough" work.
