What about Marketing? seems very tough environment once they are in 50s, because they tell me a lot of marketing competition from younger people and barriers to entry is very low due to anyone can become marketing manager.
The key word is "manager" title. If got manager title it is not so hard to find management job at 50yo. Marketing post is depend like in corporate company they have marketing department then they will still likely accept 50yo.
