actually someone i know who is divorced with a kid said she will buy iphone for her kid bcsuse
her kid.told the father that she wanted an iphone but the father said he will buy a china iphone. then this mother said “wtf i will never ever let my child suffer like that. i will buu her an iphone”

i felt like she was just trying to get back at her ex husband by providing something the ex husband could not afford or was not willing to.provide.

to me it.was poor parenting.decision but i didnt want to tell her before i got a general concensus with my fellow ktards. becsuse when i grew up i had never had antthing just fall on my lap by asking my parents so i wanna know is it normal for me to feel so. thank you brothers of k. i shall now seek the opninion ofsexysarah

i think thats the best thing to advise a child

not to totally reject their wishes

but teeach them in order to get something theybneed to work for it

even if she feels because she divorced,so child doesnt have a happy life like other children and she feels guilty , buying an iphone doesnt improve the situstion.... its like giving marijuana to someone who needs antibiotics... the person mihjt feel better but it worsens the situstion

But does he need an iPhone? If the parent has an old phone and it happens to be iPhone then ok. But if not then the kid gotta learn sometimes in life u don’t get what u want . Even the stpm 4a kid learnt even fighting hard for something doesn’t guarantee him a seat . And He not even asking to enter NUS or Harvard ….
