I believe ps2 connection is due to security reason.
PS/2 ports may be favored for security reasons in a corporate environment as they allow USB ports to be totally disabled, preventing the connection of any USB removable disks and malicious USB devices.

QUOTE(Baconateer @ Sep 11 2025, 11:13 AM) topkek spent so much money buy only getting 1 stick RAM Legit question, what's wrong with 1 stick of 32gb? Unless doing HD art/video/3D rendering, no game currently needs 64gb to run. I mean, at least adding another 32gb is an option later rather than getting 2x16gb just to fill the slots.

I know in data center they still use lar. Visitors need to inform call center before visit to order keyboard.

I mean, at least adding another 32gb is an option later rather than getting 2x16gb just to fill the slots. If ram bandwidth is not that important to your work, then there is nothing wrong, in fact, for ddr5, I think less stick is more stable. For gaming, there were some benefit in ddr3 and 4. Not sure about ddr5. GTA V, Fortnite, Warzone: Dual-channel can yield 10–15% better minimum FPS and smoother asset streaming. F1 22 or Modern Warfare II: Less sensitive difference might be under 2%.
