First is the pipe clear? Easy to flow?
Secondly check the aircond got tilted? Make sure water can flow easily

Lastly use a water pump instead of the natural flow

i had the same problem previously, due to previously only use those diy cleaning method, the Jelly can build up in weird places. In the end get aircond service guy help to dismantle and deep clean the whole thing. Once the jelly is all gone now 6month also not clogging.

Agree, one .more thing to add is you must get the sifu to do deep cleaning.

Not just any ah beng general worker from the hardware store will do otherwise 1-2months time will clog & aircon will leak water again. Happen to.my parents aircon. Had to finally get the sifu to do deep cleaning then only problem solved.

Try asking your neighbours/colleagues if they know any good aircon technician

Happened to me with the jelly stuff. DIY cleaning also no use. End up get aircond cleaner to do cleaning. Very cold after that.

The cleaner used water jet to spray the aircond fins probably helped with the cleaning more so than using the pressure spray bottle.

i suspect this AC was not install right. ie not perfect level but tilt to the wrong side.
And there is standing water in the drainline and the bacteria grow hence the gel like substance

open you AC cover and inspect the drain line .
it should not collect water.

Do deep clean and check the drain tilt. Should solve the issue.

This is the real reason. Deep cleaning only help for 6 months then the drainage outlet would clog with gel and drainline will overflow. Just find this outlet n blow the gel off n leaking would stop for few months, repeat.

I suspect the installation was purposely wrongly tilted. So b4 installation make sure to tell installer to show u the tilting with a meter.

My aircon previously has the same issues as well. What i do for is to buy some drain unclogging tablets from daiso and put 1 piece in the drainage like once a month. It helps to clear the gel from the pipes.

filter or the fins ?

Clean the filter every month . Trust me makes a lot of difference vs the work done .
