Thinking to switch from ap4 ANC to ap pro 3, mainly because of the left side of my earpod very loose and will fall, weird left size was ok....

After listening for a couple of hours, tbh not a big upgrade coming from app2.

I have owned all 3 gens of app, i feel like app2 is the best in terms of sq. Balanced, warm and can listen longer. Similar to sony ier-m9. The bass on app3 a bit too much for my taste, slight treble increase i still can accept.

If I have to describe the sq in beverage term, app1 = pure water, app2 = sparkling water, app3 = isotonic water.

Fit wise i also prefer app1 and app2. Oh well, hope the next iteration will come with h3 chip and apple will retune the sound sig abit.

Yeah, I have owned three generations too and I do agree Pro 2 was the best for listening experience. But I like Pro 3 for its ANC and long battery hours. I think the listening experience with Pro 3 is still not too bad...
