Hello all on a lazy Saturday.

Due to work arrangement I come back every fortnight. For sure back in maalaysia I like to spend time with my family. We like nice unique food/resturrant.

This few months,

I have tried Greek, Spanish, Argentinian.
Can share your secret resturant hideout? Thanks.

big fan... but realize one thing..
my son cannot eat too much wagyu .. too fatty for him a night after that he will have tummy upset and lao sai.

I know because last time use to do bbq with wagyu.

thanks for the recommendation though...

yes- it could be too oily for some.

As alternative- i do purchase online- approx Rm 600/kg/ either steak cut or yakiniku cut.
recently also going to WMArt - they have nice selection

> Aust wagyu around rm 450-500 /kg
> Japanese Wagyu around RM 850 /kg
and 20% discout if purchase in a block. very much worth it.

another choice is Jyu Jyu yakiniku..... Just rm 200 per pax, buffet with 300g of Aust wagyu+ various dessert. and other beef cutting as well. Free flow

These days I value my time more than money.

When my family is with me I cook. Now my time is limited rather go out eat.. like my dad before he retire he doesn't cook. After retire he learnt all the recipes from YouTube. Now I think he is a better cook than my mom. He bakes cheese cake , salted egg fried chicken etc.

Maybe when I retire.
I eat everything except raw oyster. Foie gras, escargot etc. Old already want to try everything. Lol. This one is ss2? OK will give it a try albeit a little far for me.

wow nice.

Northern - tried many times- its more creamy and less spicy than southern
Vietnamese - been there many time so not really my favorite
Central CHina - been to Beijing and Shanghai- so I assume the taste are similar

This would be interesting. please recommend

- Pakistani
- Sri Lankan
- Yemeni
- Turkish (been to Turkey for a layover, didn't't really try much of their food but I would assume pretty much mediterranean style)
- Syrian
- Philippines
for me for sure distance>uniqueness . within KL would be nice.

pakistani a lot these days, they are gaining traction

khan saab in wangsa maju, or khan in near HKL monorel there.

the taste ok for me , do try their palau briyani , couldn't get it anywhere, others maybe a bit similar to mamak stalls, as india pakistan cuisine for me is related , just subtle variance only

I'd say i'd prefer pakistani more than the common arabic foods these days . even yemen / syrian food they taste the same within arabic shops.

another one I would recommend is china muslim . try the xinjiang variants, their kebabs is to die for .

My son had a very good pasta(crab meat pasta) at Mazi. Very reasonable price too. Around rm30

Didn't take photo of the pasta coz it's rather normal looking.

Below here are some other foods we ordered.

Never been to France. But wife been there like foie gras but not too much. Similar to wagyu can be too fatty.

Of all the raw oyster my wife will harp about the bluff oyster in NZ ..even after 10 years plus.
