Hello all on a lazy Saturday.

Due to work arrangement I come back every fortnight. For sure back in maalaysia I like to spend time with my family. We like nice unique food/resturrant.

This few months,

I have tried Greek, Spanish, Argentinian.

Can share your secret resturant hideout? Thanks.

Find that good one either has a long queue or long drive
Nowadays I find it better to learn recipes while far2 away
Then come back home to cook/bake

These days I value my time more than money.

When my family is with me I cook. Now my time is limited rather go out eat.. like my dad before he retire he doesn't cook. After retire he learnt all the recipes from YouTube. Now I think he is a better cook than my mom. He bakes cheese cake , salted egg fried chicken etc.

Maybe when I retire.

while waiting for recommendation, can you share your place for Greek, Spanish, Argentinian ?

can try vegetable dishes at Table and Apron at Damansara Kim. They have their bakery shop next door too.
some their iconic is eggplant with scallion pesto, tempura sweet potatoes with ricotta or Roasted Cauliflower with Ricotta Spread
Their bakery shop is good for breakfast too with fresh bakes and sweet desserts. seats are very limited, so please go early in weekend. No joke when you seeing old couple queening up outside the shop

Yes nice. Iberico is nice.
Their steak is nicely done too- not the best quality but cook well.

Down side. Not much beer choice. And the sitting not too comfy.

You're quite adventurous in trying cuisines from lesser known countries.

I've been eating a variety of unique cuisines too;

- Northern Indian
- Pakistani
- Sri Lankan
- Yemeni
- Turkish
- Syrian
- Philippines
- Vietnamese
- Northern China
- Central China

Of course, I also go for the more common ones e.g. Thai, Japanese, masakan Melayu, Nyonya, Southern Indian, Indon etc

Not sure how to recommend.

What's your goal or priority? Ambiance, distance, uniqueness?

talked about HK style . today ended up at Lamp Hot pot. I assume it's HK style because its wallpaper deco has honkie flare.

not bad 8/10 but very bad for health.

bad news is my boy dropped my phone and now screen crack

wow nice.

Northern - tried many times- its more creamy and less spicy than southern
Vietnamese - been there many time so not really my favorite
Central CHina - been to Beijing and Shanghai- so I assume the taste are similar

This would be interesting. please recommend

- Pakistani
- Sri Lankan
- Yemeni
- Turkish (been to Turkey for a layover, didn't't really try much of their food but I would assume pretty much mediterranean style)
- Syrian
- Philippines

for me for sure distance>uniqueness . within KL would be nice.
