I recalled those days after my SPM days and was working a an Electrolux salesman, selling mainly Electrolux vacuum cleaner in Kedah on my trusted C70.  We will always go to Kampun to look for potential clients.  The kampung folks are friendlier and more approachable.  Most of the attap houses looked dilapidated or normal but when you enter the house, it was so well furnished.  Thick carpets, expensive curtains, etc.  it was then an eye opener for me and some even had marbled floorings.  So it is not surprising what the guy in tik tok presented.  Malays generally spend more on furnishings than others.

literally this. Most Malaysian wont bother to go out of their way to make an official complain. They rather sit back tok kok in kopitiam kutuk government, bring racial element into the issue then satisfy their own confirmation bias instead.

My experience with making official complain 100% they respond to me and solve the problem. I admit it's less than 10 times in my life time la, but i always end up receiving proper response especially when it's an issue with government entity.

IMO the worst offender is type C ppl. 99.99% wont make official complain, it's worse when they justify doing nothing and bring out the golden phrase "aiyaa gov wont do anything 1 la, they wont dare to do xyz cos it's Malay breaking rule. Government tutup mata bro."

padahal the main issue is they got great aversion to stand out point fingers. Macam pondan hide behind the mass talk shit.

Report also need to use proper channel like using SISPAA. If normal letter submission, it will be ignored.

i mean are they the same as JKR?...which are both blind?

for JKR, do they not drive/ride around everyday to see the pothole?
same for majilis....they don't go home to see all these illegally extended house?
