Perodua sales said no hybrid for poor fag. Maybe Hybrid you have to buy Toyolta. I paid a RM100 deposit for something not yet launched.

Might be a best seller if priced at RM80k or less. I am told no hybrid for Perodua. So to say this is going to sell well may be too late. X50, Tiggo cross is a very good alternative. I am just worried the 1.5 na engine will end up too weak. dogbert_chew liked this post

The X50 Exec at 86K is just too well equipped. Thats why its out selling even the TiggoCross Turbo. Nexis constrained by Daihatsu transmission competing with Myvi 2NR-VE engine likely can only price around 74-82-90K for its X, H, AV variants. |

Isnt Ron95 dropping to RM1.99 for majority?also after subsidy removal, ppl will think twice before buying fuel thirsty carsΒ , even how high the power is on paper When i dont floor the accelerator, My current X50 (TGDI) normal drive 12kml, Alza (2NR-VE) ard 14kml Normal monthly travel 1500km, thats difference of 18 liters. If Ron95 increase RM1 (for me since im not the majority unaffected), then I pay extra RM18/month driving the X50 instead of YarisCross (same engine, transmission as Alza) This post has been edited by dogbert_chew: Aug 4 2025, 12:17 PM |

QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Aug 4 2025, 12:17 PM) Geely bought P1 just to market their car here, no technology worth them buying from for P1, ah.. and also they can own Lotus from buying P1, not like Volvo has a lot of technology, if Geely come in with their own brand, they will need to spend a lot on marketing, now with P1 brand, they can skip a lot of that effort :XThis post has been edited by anakkk: Aug 4 2025, 12:21 PM dogbert_chew liked this post

Really think it's in the same category? X50 FC is awful. And its not to say x50 drivers are driving fast all the time. Even when they drive slow, the FC is still bad |

My Toyota salesmen said after Sime Darby took over Toyota, the price actually are cheaper other than the ridiculous Camry. The most apparent would be the Cross. Hybrid can be had with rebate around 131K. If that is UMW, new models usually they will increase the price further. Ativa AV at 73K, Nexis non-hybrid should be 85K and Yaris Cross Hybrid can sit at RM104,999. Then with rebate, it should hover around RM100K for the hybrid. |

China is only good in making an engine that works, can move and bring you from A to B. But Japan are on a whole different level because they are legendary in making engines that form part of the soul of the car. QUOTE(MGM @ Aug 4 2025, 06:29 PM) The Chinese r not wasting their resources on ICE tech, a has been that will be soon replaced. They r going full force on EV. The longer the legacy automakers glued to their old ICE tech is to the advantage of the Chinese which would conquer the auto industries very soon. kekw, no China knows the only way to compete in the car market is EV Because their ICE sucks ass. Also because best friend Yi Lon Ma gave them homework to copy. So all they need to do is mine as much Lithium as humanely possible and make batteries. The cars are just empty shells to put batteries on sexysarah1992 liked this post

QUOTE(JoeK @ Aug 4 2025, 03:08 PM) your X50 can get 12km/l? no way... i dont belip, unless you roll on highway all the time. your X50 apa variant? Yes i roll on both highway and city when not jam. πmy X50 TGDI flagship. this morning just isi ron95. rm72 for 35 litres when fuel bar left with one. can go ~310km max. which equal to around 9km/l - which is really bad ycs your x50 apa macam minyak makan? You didnt read the literature when bought your X50? TGDI fc is lower than MPI (15.6kml vs 15.4) but the best I could get with sedate drive is 11.6kml. This fc mentioned is for the purpose of comparing to 2NR-VE the new Nexis is most probably going to have that avg 14 kml in the same sedate drive style. Wanna talk about X50 fc we go to Car Clubs. |
