QUOTE(MegaCanonF @ Aug 4 2025, 12:01 PM) mana well equipped . X50 exec is incomplete ADAS . if P2 can offer at least ACC / ICC at same price or a bit more, abis lo . also after subsidy removal, ppl will think twice before buying fuel thirsty cars , even how high the power is on paper Gua spend just <RM200/month for fuel for 2 cars, tell me how significant cost saving I can achieve in a month changing from X50 to Nexis

QUOTE(JoLee @ Aug 4 2025, 09:50 AM) Perodua sales said no hybrid for poor fag. Maybe Hybrid you have to buy Toyolta. I paid a RM100 deposit for something not yet launched. 😂 Did you get a Perodua receipt? My SA said booking not open yet.

QUOTE(dogbert_chew @ Aug 4 2025, 11:10 AM) Daihatsu tech is constrained by their D-CVT rated to 150Nm (excl HEV). Hence any models using it max 140Nm Really think it's in the same category? Ppl want fuel efficiency and reliability, not some overly powerful poor FC car which they will be driving slow most of the time due to jam X50 FC is awful. And its not to say x50 drivers are driving fast all the time. Even when they drive slow, the FC is still bad

Thats pretty reasonably for 1.5T However you're right, for really sedate drivers who stick to speed limits (hopefully not in the outer lanes), then NA engines are sufficient

QUOTE(JoeK @ Aug 4 2025, 10:37 AM) no hybrid? then p2 trialling the ativa hybrid is for what lah? summore thailand and indon already got hybrid version. same technology easy to bring over what Knowing UMW the hybrid would be sold under Toyota brand. We Malaysians always get screwed by our local GLC. Honestly what we get with Perodua is watered down shit to keep prices low they say. I would say it would sell like hot cake if we can get the Hybrid at RM90k but I am told by Perodua SA no hybrid for us. If sold under Toyota maybe RM100k or more.

The DNGA version is different.
