The outlet on the left side of this 2T fuel tank is broken. It connects to a metal pipe. What is this outlet used for? Can I just ignore it?

QUOTE(alexei @ Aug 4 2025, 08:52 AM) what bike is this? It's difficult to trace, have to remove the 2T tank and open the motor body to trace it.see if you can trace the metal pipe goes to where? if it's a Yamaha YCLS system, then it's a return hose for extra 2T when you close throttle This model is very old yamaha model, about 198x. I'd checked it on web and perhaps it is a breather pipe, just not sure. This post has been edited by cyclopcom: Aug 4 2025, 11:36 AM |

I'd suggest removing the broken part, and get a clear oil hose to join to the metal hose, and push the other end of the clear hose into the white oil tank. If needed, make the oil tank hole bigger to fit |
