I thought gaming laptop ran pretty cool nowadays after using RTX 40 series.
Just have to buy those feet to lift the rear of the laptop up by 15-20mm. Clear the heatsink and fan every few months. Acer Helios Neo 16 with i5 13500hx and rtx4050 is pretty decent. |

It's hot when it is processing something..
It is like our brain, when you rush for deadlines and brainstorming something, your brain heating up.. And if you relax, your brain reacting normal.. Gaming laptop or office laptop, both when in gaming/processing mode, it will heat up very quick.. |
