 is it normal for gaming laptop to get so hot?

i got this gaming laptop and its spitting out heat like fire dragon

i sit next to it and when the back is facing me, i can really feel it, can even hear the fans sound.


i swear this could be used for heater for winter.


this is my first time handling gaming laptop

is that normal

- How the laptop is designed (when new)

clean clean the fan if is old

i run docker je... the most ram consuming app is

try use build in card when you are not gaming.
test test that setting, you would get cooler machine

It's normal for gaming laptop, no worries 😇🚨 if the laptop brand new, if old send for a cleaning service and replace thermal paste 😎🚨

Its the laptop producing heat la. What it got to do with fan n thermal paste. Many here in this tered give thoughtless comment. Lol.

This macam ppl asking is it normal sun in malaysia hot like this then tell ppl to take off cloth n install more fan.

It is usual. The proper setup would be getting a 1L thin client (if you don't need GPU), shove in linux headless and run your containers. You can throw it into somewhere that you don't need to bother. If GPU is needed, a ordinary desktop will do the job.

After that, just get a low power laptop to remote into the machine to do your things.
