QUOTE(ceras @ Jun 17 2025, 12:32 PM) Same question, what are the F18s for if they are not for protection against neighbouring conflicts. Which country arms itself not against neighbours but for long distance confrontation? If we can't even match our neighbours, which country should our F18s be targeting against? Conversely, our neighbours assets are targeting against which country? i would say - Malaysia...... issac99289928 liked this post

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 16 2025, 06:29 PM) hopefully we won't elect leader that day in day out say want to annihilate Singapore like what Khamenei does to Israel, closest we ever got was Mahathir in 90s, that threatened to cut water to SG, that had resulted SG to almost send their troops over to Johor then we will be fine small countries like Israel and Singapore gets extremely sensitive when someone threatens their existence |

QUOTE(seather @ Jun 16 2025, 04:07 PM) wumaos care to comment? yes..it very clear MSIA is in the AMDK Camp. with this decision. becoz this moves us closer to the AMDK sphere... otherwise no spare parts no maintenance.. and kill switch unless we wanna be like iran.. with their f14s there were so many other jet alternatives to chose. like Indo buy turki jets. |
