Just a simple info for you to ponder. V in Msia is distributing different range of products than V in Spore. V Spore is own by the real V company in USA.

At times Spore is cheaper even after conversion.

I had few cars on V from both Spore and Msia to know the difference.

I won't go for V anymore in Msia.

Haha... U know yr stuff.
A lot tint here can claim this and that but consumers right here is shit.
There is not 1 gov dept really jaga this claims.
Most, if not all are not what they claim to be.
Maybe their top top spec are true, the rest are in grey area.

As long as choose the highest range product, should be ok, no? Eg, vkool elite in my and sg should be same right?

Had 2 old cars (7 yrs and 22 yrs old) sent to neighborhood accessory shop cincai tint. Surprisingly good and very close to all my other cars on V brand. Been 2 years now and still good.

not gonna spend money on v brand anymore.
*
How much is the cincai tint brand?

Did my cheap tint at cannycool

Ranger 2 years ago. Workmanship I rate it 85% because some irregular edges but doesn't matter because they wipe clean after work. 2 years maintain/no fade/no bubbles.

Bezza this month. Did at new premise compared to ranger above at older premise. Workmanship is good but noticed a tint peel that don't give any problem. However it's full of leftovers marks (that can be wiped off).

These are just individual workers problem that can be improved. Cheap tint, you get what you paid

Used that on other car. Bubbles up after 12-13 years later I forgot which security tint (type) we used. It does it job and now is replaced with cheapo ones

was using 3M that come with new Honda, not impress with the performance.
My another car using a brand call smart shield applied by the sales man, but heat rejection is top notch. Better than V-cool.

I paid RM600 for tinting the whole car, but it's too dark. The front is more than 50%, and the sides are also more than 50%.
Is it because it's a cheaper tint, so it doesn't follow the darkness regulations then only they can offer good heat protection?
Compared to brands like 3M that use better materials, they comply with the rules and still offer good heat protection?
*
good tint or bad tint is see the heat rejection, and see 2 specs only, UV rejection and solar rejection, good tints have UV rejection 99% and solar rejection >95%, and most tint shops have the solar tester that they can test on their tints to prove to you that the readings are real, and most good house brands have both at >90%, thats why they are good enough, and some branded ones have shitty solar rejection also, u need to see the specs of the tint to see how effective they are

those lousy tints have like 70% UV rejection and 0 solar rejection

My 3M 7 years still cool, 99% IRR paid 3.3K inc coating. If pay cheap or kena katuk by sales staff, can’t help. Still can’t beat Vkool that comes with my old merc.

my previous car using V-cool but compare to the smart shield I'm using now. Surprisingly smart shield is better like 20-30% better.
Vkool still can use smart tag, just have to drive slower but this smart shield can't use at all. Have to install the stupid RFID.
Another car using Ecotint but can't even beat Vkool, the worst is 3M crystalline.

I have elite installed on my cars from both sg and my.

I go direct to their head office to install and not any dealer.
